What will I learn?

The School of Computer Science (SoCS) emphasizes both academic and applied research that can contribute to future research, industry partnerships and government programs. Interaction with other disciplines is encouraged and many faculty work with industry partners.


The MSc in Computer Science is a two-year program (although some students complete in as little as 16 months) during which you will complete five courses, give a public seminar and successfully defend a thesis.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants require a four-year honours degree in computer science, or in another discipline with minor in computer science. A minimum average of 75% during the last four semesters of full-time study is required.
